    Washable paint is most likely tempera paint and will not give you the flexibility you need to paint on a canvas (which has some movement). It will flake off. Oil and acrylic is best for a canvas...

    what color is your carpet? if it's white, try bleach, otherwise I'd try a club soda and baking powder mixture, lemon/orange zest also sometimes works or last resort- some fabric dye the same color...

    One of my children decided to use crayola paint and got it all of my white carpet. It says its washable but I didn't find it until 2 days after it happened. I've used 409 carpet cleaner, and oxyclean but neither work all the way, its still there...

    you can try this; place a piece of paper towel over the spot and go over the towel with a low iron. sometimes the heat can lift some of that wax onto the towel. good luck!
